Install Kreidebuch

iPhone and iPad

1. Open app.kreidebuch.de in Safari.
2. Log in.
3. Tap the share icon at the bottom (square with an arrow pointing up).
4. Choose "Add to Home Screen" and tap "Add".
5. From now on, launch Kreidebuch from the new icon.

On iPhone, notifications like reminders only work if you launch Kreidebuch from the icon on your home screen (iOS 16.4 or later).

Android

1. Open app.kreidebuch.de in Chrome.
2. Log in.
3. Tap the three dots in the top right.
4. Choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
5. Kreidebuch shows up with your apps.

Samsung Internet and Firefox offer this too, usually in the menu under "Add page to".

Desktop

In Chrome and Edge, an install icon appears on the right side of the address bar. Kreidebuch then runs in its own window. In any other browser you can simply use it as a website.

Updates and offline

Kreidebuch downloads new versions in the background. The next time you open it, the update is there without you doing anything. With no signal the app still launches, and your entries are synced later.
