What Kreidebuch can do
A training log that speaks the language of the box. Here's everything in detail, including what's free and what's part of Premium.
Log workouts
For Time, AMRAP, EMOM, lifts with sets, cardio and multi-part sessions. With Rx or Scaled, how it felt and notes.
Kreidebuch knows the formats from the box: For Time, AMRAP, EMOM, chipper, Tabata, intervals, max reps, lifts with individual sets, cardio on the rower, bike or ski erg, and multi-part sessions with a strength piece and a metcon. For each part you enter the right kind of result: time, rounds and reps, weight, or calories and distance.
- Rx or Scaled, and how it felt afterwards, from "Puke zone" to "Peak form"
- Sets with warm-up, drop set, failed attempt and RPE
- "Same as last time" copies movements and weights from your last session
- Plate calculator: which plates go on the bar
- Attach photos to any workout
- Entries in the future are scheduled automatically

A timer for every format
For Time, AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and intervals. Easy to read from three meters away, with a countdown and beeps. The result goes straight into your log.
The timer is built for the box: big digits you can read from a few feet away, a countdown before the start and beeps when the round changes. The screen stays on while it's running.
- For Time with a time cap
- AMRAP with any duration
- EMOM with any interval, for example E2MOM
- Tabata, the classic 8 × 20 s work and 10 s rest
- Intervals with work, rest, rounds and station changes
- Multi-part workouts from the logger, part by part
- Set times and rounds with arrows, no keyboard needed

145 benchmarks
Girls, Heroes, classics and Open workouts with Rx weights for women and men and a level from Novice to Elite.
145 benchmark workouts are built in, with Rx weights for women and men. Each one has standards across five levels: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite. Kreidebuch shows your personal best and your history across all attempts, and reminds you of benchmarks you haven't done in a while.
- Girls like Fran, Grace, Helen, Diane and Cindy
- Hero WODs like Murph, DT, JT and Michael
- Classics like Filthy Fifty and Fight Gone Bad
- Workouts from the Open
- Bodyweight filter: every benchmark with no weights at all
- File your own workouts from the box as a Hero WOD or Girl
- Rx weights in kg, rounded to loadable 2.5 kg steps, or in lb

Bodyweight and calisthenics
61 exercises using nothing but your own body weight, from push-up variations and pistols to the front lever and planche. With level, how-to and video.
Training with your own body weight has its own category in Kreidebuch. It covers push-up, pull-up and dip variations, leg exercises like the Bulgarian split squat, shrimp squat and Nordic curl, core work from the dead bug to the dragon flag, and skills like the handstand, crow pose, front lever, back lever, planche and human flag. Bars, rings, parallel bars and parallettes are allowed, weights are not. Every exercise is rated from beginner to expert.
- Its own Bodyweight category with how-tos, mistakes and easier variations
- The filter also shows every other exercise you can do without weights, like pull-ups, dips and burpees
- Benchmarks without weights at a glance, for example Cindy, Murph or Angie
- "Build me one" with a bodyweight focus, without expert skills in the random workout
- Holds like the plank, L-sit or front lever are logged for time

Exercises with video
206 exercises with steps, common mistakes and easier variations. Most have a short demo video that only loads when you tap play.
Tap an exercise in the logger or the exercise list and you'll see how it's done: a short description, step-by-step form, common mistakes and how to fix them, and easier variations for scaling. Search understands English and German names and common abbreviations like T2B, HSPU or DU.
- Categories: Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Bodyweight, Cardio, Kettlebell & Dumbbell, Strongman
- Short demo videos from YouTube, loaded only when you tap, via youtube-nocookie.com
- Your own video, for example from your coach, instead of the default one
- Add your own exercises

Personal bests and 1RM partly Premium
Personal best for every rep count, estimated 1RM, a strength score across all areas and your progress as a chart.
For every lift, Kreidebuch stores your personal best for each rep count: 1RM, 3RM, 5RM and so on. It estimates your 1RM from your sets and compares it with your body weight. The strength score sums up every area in one number, from squats to snatches.
- Personal bests for every rep count (free)
- 1RM history as a chart (Premium)
- Level based on multiples of body weight, separately for women and men
- Percentage table from 60 to 95% of your 1RM
- Max reps for pull-ups, push-ups, double-unders and more

Plans and programs Premium
Schedule workouts on days, save templates, share plans with your box and run strength programs like 5×5 or 5/3/1 that adjust after every session.
Put workouts on days and see what's planned and what's done in the week or month view. Any workout becomes a template with one tap. Coaches share their plan with the box as a program. Strength programs like linear 5×5, the 5/3/1 wave or a percentage block plan the weights for you and adjust them after every session.
- Weekly and monthly plan with completed and open sessions
- Templates, which you can also share with all Kreidebuch members
- File templates as Hero, Girl or Classic WODs so they show up under Benchmarks
- Share and adopt programs
- Strength programs with automatic progression
- "Build me one": workout suggestions by time, equipment and focus

Insights Premium
Heatmap of training days, streaks, monthly recap, muscle groups of the week, weekly report and year in review.
Kreidebuch doesn't just show you numbers, it shows you patterns. How many training days did you have in the last twelve months? Which muscle groups did you neglect this week? How many reps and how much weight did you move?
- Heatmap of training days and streaks in weeks
- Monthly recap with new personal bests
- Muscle groups of the week
- Total reps and tonnage moved
- Your own goals with progress, like a 140 kg back squat by March
- Weekly report and year in review, also as an image

Your Home screen partly Premium
Lifter, runner, calisthenics or WODs: when you start, you pick how you train and only see what matters to you. Show or hide cards, set the order, the numbers and your favorites.
Not everyone trains at a box. That's why Kreidebuch asks at the start how you train: functional fitness, lifting, running and cardio, or bodyweight, and you can pick more than one. Your Home screen follows from that. A lifter sees personal bests for the squat, deadlift and bench press, a runner sees her kilometers for the week and her longest runs, and anyone doing CrossFit® training sees the Girls with their level. Everything else you can hide.
- "How do you train?" at the start, which you can change any time
- Show or hide cards like weight, cardio or "Due again" (free)
- Set the order of the cards yourself (Premium)
- Pick the three numbers at the top, like weeks in a row, km this week or lifts with a PR (Premium)
- Up to six favorites from benchmarks, lifts, max reps and cardio (Premium)
- Applies on all your devices, reset with one tap

Daily goals
For example 50 push-ups a day, spread out over the day. With max sets, streaks and a reminder while the goal is still open.
Some things don't happen in the WOD but on the side: 50 push-ups a day, 100 air squats, 5 minutes of stretching. With daily goals you log every set throughout the day and see how much is left. A max set counts toward your daily goal and as a personal best at the same time, without being counted twice. In your history, each day gets its own line.
- Several goals at once
- Sets with time of day, plus a days-in-a-row streak
- Max set with PR detection
- Up to three reminders a day, only while the goal is still open

Find a workout Premium
Search by name or movement, filter by duration and focus, even bodyweight only or just what your home gym has. Or let "Build me one" put a workout together.
"Find a workout" searches the benchmarks, your templates, templates others have shared and your past workouts. Search by name, like "Murph", or by movements, like "pull-ups, rowing". If nothing fits, "Build me one" puts together a workout in the right format.
- Search by name or movements
- Filter by duration and focus: strength, cardio, barbell, gymnastics, bodyweight, kettlebell
- At home: only workouts that work with your home gym equipment
- "Build me one" reshuffles until it fits

WOD from a photo Premium
Snap the whiteboard or screenshot your box's app: Kreidebuch picks out movements, reps and weights.
The whiteboard at your box, a screenshot from your box's app or a photo of your coach's programming: Kreidebuch reads the text right on your device and turns it into a workout with movements, reps and weights. Parts like A and B are recognized separately. You check the result before it's saved.
- Text recognition on your device, the image stays with you
- Recognizes formats, movement names and abbreviations like T2B or DU
- Multi-part plans are scheduled as separate sessions
Body weight and measurements
Weight, measurements and progress photos over time. Sharing only shows the change, never your weight.
Body weight, measurements like waist, chest or thighs, and progress photos each get their own history. So you can see change even when the scale doesn't move.
- Weight history with a selectable time range
- Body measurements and progress photos
- Sharing only shows the change, never your weight

Share as an image
New PR, benchmark, weekly report or daily goal as a ready-made image for Instagram, WhatsApp or your box's group chat.
New PR? Kreidebuch turns it into a ready-made portrait image, perfect for Instagram Stories, WhatsApp or your box's group chat. That works for every entry in your history, for personal bests, benchmarks, daily goals, the weekly report and the year in review.
- One tap on the share icon next to any entry
- Your name and body weight aren't on it
- Save the image or send it straight from the share menu
